"She says she was flattered. That means she digs me"

"She said if things were different, then she would reconsider. That means I have a chance"
---Philosophies of a Red Sox fan

I've never met a Red Sox fan who isn't an optimist. Those that aren't optimistic, usually don't last very long. And optimism is the best thing in the world. In the few short years I've been cheering the sox on, I've been disapointed every year. But every year, I've gotten my hopes up. And I've gotten my hopes up for other things that haven't happened, but thats not gonna stop me. Because I'm ready to look to tomorrow, because thats the kind of person I am. And when things look like they could work out, I'm gonna smile, just like I'm going to start talking about the World Series when the Sox win 9 straight. They might not win, and I might fail a thousand times in a thousand endeavors, but I'd rather have the knowledge that I tried and failed than nothing at all. So I'm gonna go out there and try, cause hey, the Red Sox have the best record in baseball, and I'm a funny, confident, intelligent man, and there aint no such thing as a curse.

Damn that felt good
